About the Children’s Heart Center


University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Children’s Heart Center (CHC), located at Holtz Children’s Hospital, is an internationally respected center for the comprehensive care of children and adults with congenital heart disease as well as other cardiac conditions.  As faculty members of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, our specialists are at the forefront of ground- breaking medical research.

The CHC is also home to the Miami Adult Congenital Heart (MACH) Center as we are the only program in South Florida capable of caring for patients with congenital heart disease from the fetus through adulthood.

We are the only center in South Florida with cardiac specialists providing state-of-the-art cardiac services for babies in the womb, newborns, children and adults including:

  • Diagnosis and medical management of congenital heart disease
  • Arrhythmia management
  • ICAEL accredited echocardiographic laboratory
  • Interventional catheterization and electrophysiology
  • Management of heart failure and transplant
